The Ormond Beach Pride is a volunteer, not-for-profit, 501-c3 organization dedicated to enriching the lives of the children in our community through sports. Commitment to our youth is demonstrated by emphasizing values such as academics, sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork, character, and a sense of pride for the community we live in. Enduring long beyond their participation in our program, these values will help players and cheerleaders become citizens of whom we can be proud. The program provides boys and girls with a safe structured environment to learn and play football and cheer as we prepare them for high school.
Today, the program continues to have a meaningful and beneficial impact on our community, it would be impossible to do all of this without the support from sponsors, the community, and local businesses, looking to make an impact for good, no matter how big or small.
Uniforms, equipment, nationals, competitions, and insurance are examples of the many costs associated with the operation of a Football and Cheer program. Participants are asked to pay a registration fee to help defray some of these costs averaging $350 per child. However, our goal is to never turn a child away for lack of financial resources. To have a successful season, and help as many children as possible, we need businesses and people within the community to help by sponsoring the Pride organization.
